I began my career in massage therapy after a 20 year battle with chronic health conditions. After years of searching for answers, I find myself endlessly curious and passionate about the healing capacity of the human body – and the complex ways that our nervous system often holds the key to unlocking our greatest wellbeing. Bodywork has been an integral part of my own healing and I hope to be able to offer that support and nurturing care to you too!
I offer a relaxing, rhythmic Swedish massage with the intention of facilitating nervous system rebalancing. Where needed, I mix in deep trigger point therapy and targeted neuromuscular work, along with lots of pinning and stretching to release the fascia. I incorporate Craniosacral Therapy into almost all of my sessions to varying degrees as clients (and their bodies) are open to it. Sometimes that shows up as gently holding your head at the end of a massage, tuning in to the body’s rhythms, and sometimes that shows up as deeper listening and fascial work in a trouble spot, as things release and unwind themselves. And if you are interested, we can dedicate more time to tuning in on that level, exploring where your body wants us to go and listening to what it needs.
I believe massage has the power to help reprogram our bodies back into harmony, remembering they can feel good again – calm, easeful, light, connected!
I look forward to listening to your experience, finding out what you’re needing most from your session and letting that guide our work. individualize a session to reach their goals. I use a blend of myofascial, swedish, trigger point, craniosacral, gua sha, and fire cupping.
