Healing is personal. We are all healers, on a cellular level to our emotions, we are in a constant state of repair. Like all things that get repetitive use, our bodies experience every second of each day and repeat, so it’s to be expected that some fine tuning is necessary.

I began studying massage therapy and energy work in 2002. Growing up an athlete, I had a deep understanding of the body and its ability to recover. Massage seemed to always help ease the pain from overwork and strain, as well as calm my active mind. I have overcome chronic pain and dysfunction in my own body through application of massage and energy work, and I would like to help you along your own healing journey.

My sessions with you will incorporate acupressure, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, joint mobilization, nervous system regulation techniques, as well as chakra balancing (Reiki, Yuen Method). By listening to your health concerns and goals, I will use my knowledge and skills to help your body regain balance and harmony.

Along with my healing work, I also have a degree in sculpture from the University of Iowa. These days I enjoy making ceramics, drawing, and wood carving. I also spend time in nature with my dog and partner. I love to dance in my living room, play guitar, and explore the wider world. I have lived in Missouri, Iowa, Hawaii, Connecticut, Ireland, Washington, and now Oregon.

Energy work incorporates a blend of techniques that intend to align the chakras (energy centers where we receive, transmit, and process life energies). This work helps an individual feel grounded, safe, open, strong, and confidant so that they can communicate their purpose through creative life force. During the session the practitioner may lightly touch the body with their hands or they may hold their hands above the body to facilitate the energetic shift.
