An early exploration of art in my twenties led me to learn figurative sculpture, which led to anatomy. My awe of the human body grew into a traveling massage practice. But my art muse had other ideas and I left body work for the professional fine art world.
After many years, I still felt drawn to the healing arts, which feels natural to me. I circled back to bodywork in 2017. In 2021, I put roots down in Eugene, became a plant-based foodie (currently a board member of Eugene Plant-Based Providers), and completed my Oregon Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) licensure. I began working in chiropractic clinical settings.
I’m told my warm hands provide spot deep tissue massage when/where needed along with a medium firm flowing style of bodywork. I offer heat to melt away deep tension, too. To me, innovative massage occurs intuitively by blending therapeutic and relaxation techniques. Even though my forte is upper body work, it often takes a whole-body approach to find long-term peace and resolution. Clients call me caring, intuitive, intentional, and kind. I strive to live up to these compliments daily. I consider my specialties to be Swedish, Spot Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Light Pressure, Cupping, Heat Hydrotherapy, and Side-lying Massage.
Shaped by our experiences, both mentally and physically, our life story shows up in our body, both good and bad. Together we decipher those negative impacts and narratives to co-create a positive new script of body wellness. I’m honored to help guide my clients on their very personal journey, be it one of recovery or utterly deep relaxation. My goal is to deliver exactly what your body needs in that moment so you can reach your goal of doing what you love most in life for as long as possible. I want that for you. I’m here for you.
